Online Enology courses - The curriculum of this course is closely based on the curriculum of VEN 124 Wine Production, the classroom-based course offered by the Department of Viticulture and Enology, UC Davis. You will receive the same lecture material as students in VEN 124 with the addition of online case studies augmented by student reports. The class is limited in size to 40 students to ensure student/instructor interaction.

Associate in Applied Sciences Degree in Enology & Viticulture This technical degree prepares the student for a variety of careers in vineyards (vineyard workers, crew leaders, managers, viticulturists) and wineries (winemakers, cellar workers, lab technicians, retail sales representatives). Oenology, or the study of wine and winemaking, exposes students to the process of making wine from growing grapes and other fruits used in winemaking to fermentation of wine by introducing oxygen to facilitate yeast growth.
