Online Courses Tunxis Are: Virtual courses that are conducted electronically through a Learning Management System (LMS) called Blackboard and have no regularly scheduled on-campus requirements. Some people may refer to online courses as:online learning, online education, eLearning, distance learning, virtual learning, web-enhanced learning.
TEAS Prep Series. The TEAS Prep Series will prepare you to sit for the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam. TEAS Prep 1 focuses on the Reading and English and Language Usage portions. All courses run for six weeks (with a two-week grace period at the end). Courses are project oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links, and more. You can complete any of these courses entirely from your home or office and at any time of the day or night.
Tunxis Offers Late-Start and Accelerated Classes. Tunxis Community College in Farmington will offer late-start courses and accelerated online offerings this spring in addition to its traditional semester classes. This online course bundle will introduce you to the basics of the paralegal profession. You will understand what paralegals do and learn what skills are needed to work in the field, such as business writing and using Microsoft Office 2019.
